TERMS
Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of OpenABCode, including the AI coding router, hosted model gateway, account dashboard, documentation, APIs, and related services.
Last updated: July 9, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, accessing OpenABCode, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use OpenABCode for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use OpenABCode.
2. The service
OpenABCode routes coding tasks across supported model providers based on context, tools, cost, capability, availability, provider policy, and your configuration. The service may include local clients, hosted APIs, account management, usage metering, prepaid credits, team workspaces, and documentation.
OpenABCode does not guarantee that a routed model response will be correct, secure, complete, or fit for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and approving all generated code, commands, configuration, and advice before using them.
3. Accounts and teams
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials, sessions, API keys, and team access secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for users you invite to your team workspace.
You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse of your account.
4. BYOK usage
When you use bring-your-own-key mode, you are responsible for the provider accounts, API keys, usage charges, rate limits, data processing terms, and policy compliance associated with those providers. OpenABCode may route requests using your credentials according to your configuration.
You should not provide provider keys or other secrets unless you are authorized to use them. OpenABCode is not responsible for charges, suspensions, output restrictions, or data handling decisions made by third-party providers in BYOK mode.
5. Hosted credits and billing
Hosted model access, where available, is prepaid and metered. Credits are debited based on hosted usage, which may include provider/model selection, token usage, request processing, and related service costs. Displayed estimates may differ from final debits because model providers and routing behavior can vary.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, prepaid credits, subscriptions, and fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value. We may change prices, credit packages, included usage, or billing features with reasonable notice.
You are responsible for taxes, payment processor fees, chargebacks, and payment failures associated with your purchases. We may suspend hosted access if payment fails, credits are exhausted, or we detect abuse.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use OpenABCode to violate law, infringe rights, compromise systems, exfiltrate data, distribute malware, bypass access controls, abuse model providers, send spam, harass others, or process data you are not authorized to use.
You may not interfere with the service, probe or attack our infrastructure, resell hosted access without permission, remove usage controls, conceal abusive traffic, or use OpenABCode to build a competing hosted routing service by copying non-public service behavior.
7. Your content and code
You retain ownership of your source code, prompts, project files, outputs, and other materials you submit through OpenABCode. You grant us the rights needed to process that content only to provide, secure, troubleshoot, meter, and improve the service as described in these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content to OpenABCode and third-party model providers.
8. Third-party services
OpenABCode integrates with third-party model providers, infrastructure platforms, payment processors, authentication providers, and developer tools. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, availability, and security practices. We are not responsible for third-party services or their outputs.
9. Intellectual property
OpenABCode, including our software, hosted service, website, documentation, designs, trademarks, and non-public technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of OpenABCode.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for your internal development purposes.
10. Service changes and availability
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, providers, models, limits, routing rules, or hosted access at any time. We aim to operate OpenABCode reliably, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, incidents, third-party outages, provider policy changes, rate limits, or events outside our control.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using OpenABCode at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay amounts owed, exhaust hosted credits, misuse the service, or if continued service becomes commercially or technically impractical.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, ownership terms, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.
12. Disclaimers
OpenABCode is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security.
AI-generated outputs may contain errors, vulnerabilities, outdated information, license issues, or unsafe instructions. You are responsible for independent review, testing, and compliance before relying on any output.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenABCode and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, security incidents, or substitute services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid to OpenABCode for the service giving rise to the claim in the three months before the event.
14. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold OpenABCode harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of third-party rights.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting the updated terms or sending an account notice. Your continued use of OpenABCode after an update means you accept the revised terms.
